Disneyland Park Paris, the park is located near Marne-la-Vallee was opened in 1992 with the idea of duplicating similar parks in California, Florida and Japan. By 1997, Disneyland Paris was ranked as France's top tourist attraction. The park has a golf course and six resort hotels. Outside the park, Disney Village offers live music in an attractive setting. Disneyland Paris is reached via RER, a suburban train line from central Paris.
